May 14: Day 25-27
Just two weeks ago, the adult spent most of her time
brooding, and the nestlings actively sought the best
location--directly underneath. Now nearly feathered, the
nestlings no longer need continuous brooding. The adult is still
nearly omnipresent on the nest as her mate maintains the
hunt. Meanwhile, her nestlings are becoming aware of the
world outside the nest. They'll enter it in about 10 days.
